Elias is growing up. He's not a baby anymore - he's a big 3k-er, at my alma-mater, no less. I love having him at WCS, and he loves his class & his teacher. He's so proud of all the 'work' he brings home from school. My cabinets are bulging with 3 year old art, but I love that he loves it. He even pretends to play school at home, even though Jacob is not always a willing participant!
Jacob is growing, too, though I still see some traces of baby in him. He is so different from Elias. They like the same things, yet it is so different. It's great having time with just him while E is at school. Sometimes, J doesn't want to get E from school! He's much snugglier now than he was as a baby, yet it still has to be on his terms. E will always be my snuggle-puppy. Soon we will transition J to a toddler bed & hopefully get him potty-trained...just in time for the arrival of baby #3 in July.
Both boys are excited about the new baby. E says it's a girl, because he sees a dress in the ultra-sound picture. At 7 weeks, the picture is little more than a dot, but he's convinced. I think it'd be great to have a little girl, just so I could have some pink around here! I still have all the boys clothes, though, so it'd probably be easier with another boy. We will find out in about 1 1/2 months...
