Busy Busy!

Having the best time with the boys (aside from the normal boyish squabbles, that is!) 2 & 3 is such a fun age. And now that we know they're getting a little sister, they talk about her all the time. It is so sweet!

Another thing I want to be sure to remember: We've had a couple from California staying with us this past week while doing some missions stuff at the Bridge. The boys love Brandon & Carrie! I'm not sure what we'll do when they go home tomorrow. :o( Last night after dinner the boys were in the living room playing, so Zach & I wanted to take advantage of the "quiet" in the dining room & pray & bless Brandon & Carrie. Before we could get started, the boys came in the dining room & wanted to pray too. I don't know if you've ever tried to pray with a 2 & 3 year old hanging on you, but it's a little distracting sometimes! But it's so cool to see them become sensitive to the Holy Spirit, too. J just stood there with his little hand in mine while we prayed, & E put his hand on Carrie's back, then (as he's crawling around under the table) he put his hand on her foot. Awesome!

It's also cool to hear them say their verses they are learning at church. With their class (age 2-5) we try to learn 1 verse a month. So far Elias has learned 5 verses since November, & J has started picking them up, too. He's learned 3 so far. My favorite has to be Proverbs 23:19 – Listen and be wise, and set your heart on the right path. All we have to do now is tell the boys to listen & be wise, & J will finish the verse, complete with motions. Too Adorable! And I love that they are actually hiding the Truth of God in their hearts, because I know that it's something that will be with them forever.

That's the biggest things I can think of right now - I'm sure there's more I wish I'd remember so I could write it down so I'll remember it, but as a busy mom of 2 (almost 3!) my remembering is always the strongest!
