March Photo Day(s)
I'm way behind posting pictures (in fact, I'll post today's pic tomorrow - oy!) But I have been taking them every day. So Fun! Here's 4 days worth of photos...

March 16 - Sunglasses
This is our sunglasses basket - I'm constantly picking up sunglasses, hunting for sunglasses...trying to remember where they are. Maybe this will help find them & keep up with them! 3 pairs each for the boys (1 red, 1 blue, & 1 toy story), and 2 pair for me (my always sunglasses, & my mom's old ones for back-up in case I can't find mine - ha!) None for Anna Ruth (yet! I see some pink ones in her future!) and Zach is on his own keeping up with his (they're usually in his car).
We're halfway through the month. I've stuck with this (which is big for me, with 3 kids!) Maybe my picture taking skills are being stretched (I hope so!) If nothing else, it does give me a chance to look at things a bit differently, and capture some of the memories of daily life with 3 bitties.

Photo Day 15
Today's cue was car. I was going to take a picture of my car, because in conjunction with Jeep-spotting on the way to school in the morning, we have also added Honda-spotting. I thought a big pic of the Honda symbol would be nice to remember that by. But it would also involve backing the car up into the driveway to get the shot I was wanting, and quite frankly, after E had no nap today, I'm too tired for any extra effort. But I remembered the salt & pepper shakers D&P got us when they went to New York City (to get engaged or right after they got engaged?) 9-10 years ago & thought they'd be a cute shot. They sit on my counter, right next to the stove, which explains the tile background!

Day 14 - Clouds

This is our Good Manners Sign. We're trying to work on these with our boys (3 & 4 years old). They do great with some of them, and we're still working on others (they still interrupt, but they say excuse me while interrupting!). If everyone in the world followed these good manners, I'm sure it'd be a nicer place.
It was overcast this morning, so I wasn't sure I'd get a good picture of the clouds today. But yay, Mr. Sun came out after lunch & we still have a few clouds in the the beautiful blue sky & lovely warm weather. I love it!

Photo Day 12
Today, the picture was fork. Thankfully I just snapped one of the fork on my kitchen counter. Fortunately for all, there was also a staple gun & bat hooks on the counter with said fork. What's on your kitchen counter?
March Photo Day 11
Someone I talked to today:
I finally got around to getting a picture of her for the photo a day. She was just waking up from her nap & so sweet & sleepy. When I go wake her up I always say "Good Morning Sunshine", even if it's night time. She's babbling more every day, and last night it sounded like she was trying to say night-night! I don't know if I'd count it as her first words, but she did respond when we said it to her...I have a feeling once she starts talking, it will be complete sentences & we won't be able to keep her quiet (just like her mom!)

This is right after a marathon of "jump on Daddy"...plus Elsie running around barking at them. It is almost always loud at our house!
March Photo Day 9 - Red
This day was a little harder - we have a ton of red stuff at our house, yet none of it was really "picture worthy". Then on the way to school, I noticed a lot of other red stuff: an old horse trailer beside a run down house, a freshly painted fire hydrant, stop signs, yield signs, firetrucks at the fire station. But it was rainy in the morning, & I had 3 kids in the car, & had to get E to school, so I needed something easy. So we get a picture of AR's blocks, which is kind of appropriate - toys are all over our house (3 kids, under 5 years old = Toys R Us explosion!)

Out my window
I love my kitchen window. Outside, I can see the backyard & watch the boys play on the the swings or in the tree house. In the middle of our neighborhood, it feels secluded, like we're in the middle of the woods. Peaceful.

Neighborhood
I didn't get to post a photo this weekend, so we get 2 photos today! This is a pic of our neighbor's tree - I think it's a dogwood or pear tree? I love driving by and seeing it blooming. Spring is coming! (if you look past the tree, there appears to be a brewfest going on down the street, hence all the cars!)

Elias, Monster Truck Driver
Elias had to dress up for school today as what he wants to be when he grows up. I'm thinking "fireman" "doctor" or something that would have a nice costume. What does he pick? Monster Truck Driver. Thankfully, one of the friends he played soccer with last year has a shirt with a monster truck on it. Combined with a 'boggin & shades, and he looks pretty ready to drive a truck & crush some cars...

Anna Ruth, 6 months old
It's hard to believe she's 6 months old already. Time flies.
I can't remember what life was like without her. She's totally irreplaceable.
